What is 3D Laser Scanning?
Our 3D Laser Scanning team creates an incredibly accurate computer model of your site by taking millions of points of data; this data is a ‘point cloud’. We then join the point clouds together to create even bigger clouds of information. This 3D data can be used directly to provide crucial measurements instantly or can be viewed in TruViewTM as a virtual site tour.

Most commonly, we laser scan, model and deliver 3D computer models of buildings to assist the construction team in the BIM process. Following confirmation of the BIM Specification, our Revit modelling team then apply post-processing techniques to recreate the physical environment in 3D space, as an Autodesk Revit model.
